I understand from other people that hair doesn't always grow back the same after chemo treatment. So, here's the poll...how will my hair grow back? Blond? Straight? Red? Wavy? Or will I keep the curl? The winner(s) of this little poll will get a prize, that is if I know who you are and if I have a way to contact you.
So let me know what you think!
Okay...well...I think it will grow back in tight curls. Though, I know that not everyone loses their hair. Many do. Some don't. Maybe I am wrong. I know two people here in New Zealand who didn't lose their hair to their chemo treatment. I guess it depends on the type of chemo. I think a bald head is actually quite beautiful. I had a lady in my ward in Auckland who had a condition where her hair would fall out (not due to cancer) and she dressed her head in the most beautiful scarfs. I thought she was just so beautiful. My question is...will it grow back the same colour? Ha! Maybe you'll become a blonde or a brunette. Nah. You are a redhead....so my guess is tight curls, red hair!

I can't bare the thought of you not being a red head. It might be fun if it changed in texture. I'm going to vote that it will be red, but thicker, and wavy, because the thickness will weigh it down.
ReplyDeleteI think you'll stay red, but with more blonde patches like the one on your neck.

ReplyDeleteI love having a red-headed daughter so I'm going to guess that it will be much the same but just a little darker. :-) Mom Rimington
ReplyDeleteI think you hair will stay curly and red but darken in color.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is not quite as curly and darker....
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess that its lighter in color, but still red. Almost strawberry blonde. And its going to be thicker strands, but not as curly. You are amazing Delores and I am glad I know you. ~Shaundria~
